A note from our founder—Harriet Harris
First, I want to sincerely thank you for joining me on this journey with POSEE. This brand was born out of a deep sense of purpose and a desire to address the topics that so often go unspoken. POSEE is a reflection of my commitment to breaking the silence and offering products created with true care, compassion, and a focus on women's health.
My journey began with my studies in Integrative Nutrition and the Microbiome, which drew me closer to those in need of support, especially women facing hormonal imbalances. But my mission became even more personal when I witnessed my younger sister struggling with female health issues, feeling unsupported and without the solutions she needed.
Naturally, I immersed myself in research, devouring scientific articles, listening to podcasts, and exploring what was available in the wellness market. I quickly realised that many products on the shelves weren’t designed with women’s unique wellness needs in mind. Too often, they caused more harm than good. This sparked my resolve to do something different—something meaningful.
To start, I chose a product that many are already familiar with: an intimacy oil. But this wasn’t just about creating another product—it was about starting a conversation.
I want to change the way we view intimate care, encouraging people to see it as essential self-care, not something limited to sexual health. While our Intimacy Oil can certainly enhance shared moments, it’s also designed to support daily hydration, ease vulva dryness, and assist with postpartum and menopausal symptoms, among other benefits. It’s a reminder that every part of our body deserves care, especially as we move through the hormonal changes in womanhood.
Through The Edit and POSEE Unsealed, we offer a space where you can share knowledge and stories that inspire others, while also giving us feedback to help shape future products. Just as we care for the other aspects of our health, we should honour and care for the intimate parts of our bodies—free from shame or stigma. Therefore, each bottle is more than just organic botanicals and natural ingredients to support vulva and vaginal health; it’s an invitation to share this wisdom with partners, friends, mothers, and grandmothers.
Through POSEE, I hope to inspire change. Change that empowers you to make informed, confident choices about your intimate wellness. Change that holds corporations accountable for scrutinising their ingredients and prioritising women’s safety. Together, let’s usher in a new era of wellness.
